  1. The Quantum Foam in-ear plug is a disposable, self-expanding hearing protector, available with or without a cord, made of polyurethane foam.
  2. Made from ultra-soft, hypoallergenic polyurethane foam, it provides a comfortable and effective seal.
  3. Its conical design and low expansion rate ensure proper insertion into the ear canal.
  4. The "detectable" model is only available with a cord (903684).
  5. It features a metallic core in the cord and a metal insert in the plug for detection in case of loss.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Firmly hold the plug by the stem just behind the last (largest) flange.
  2. Place the opposite hand over the head and pull the ear to open the ear canal properly.
  3. Position the first flange of the plug in the canal and push inward while gently twisting the plug. Insert the plug as deeply as possible to achieve maximum noise reduction.
  4. Check the correct position of the plug in the ear canal. The largest flange should seal the entrance to the canal.
  5. Ensure proper depth of the plug in the ear canal for optimal attenuation.
  6. Failure to follow all instructions and recommendations or discontinuing use during exposure will degrade the nominal protection offered, which may lead to serious injuries.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. This product must be used as directed by LIBUS.
  2. This product is designed for single-use only; it should not be washed or reused.
  3. Once removed from the ears, it must be discarded.
  4. Store in a cool, dry place.
  5. The protector must be worn continuously in environments where its use is mandatory.
  6. Inspect the plugs before each use to ensure they are clean, flexible, and suitable for use.
  7. In environments where the cord may get caught, we recommend using the cord-free model.
  8. This product is made from materials not expected to cause adverse health effects.
  9. Some chemicals may degrade this product.
